My blog explores the relationship between acquired synesthesia and multimedia experiences. With influences as diverse as Rousseau and Marcel Duchamp, new tensions are created from both mundane and transcendant narratives. As temporal derivatives become distorted through frantic and personal practice, creative women are left with a testament to the darkness of our culture.

ART IS OUR LAST HOPE
"Paulo Bruscky worked as a civil servant in a Recife hospital throughout his entire life. While this daytime occupation could have been an obstacle tohis artistic practice, in reality, it allowed him the freedom to pursue his artistic interests independently of external pressures. Moreover, this medical environment inspired Bruscky to produce some of his most stirring works, leading to experimentations with the electro-encephalogram, the electrocardiogram, and X-Ray machines."
